Zippeite is a rare hydrated uranium potassium sulfate mineral with the chemical formula K3(UO2)4(SO4)2O3(OH)·3H2O. This mineral is characterized by a very low Mohs hardness of 2, a low density, a vitreous to dull luster, and typically exhibits a yellowish to greenish coloration due to the presence of uranium.
